Ahmad Jawid Muhammadi is an Android Software Engineer with over three years of experience in building scalable, robust, and award-winning applications with 1M+ downloads. He is knowledgeable about the entire development lifecycle, from business requirements through the unit and integration testing, to release and post-release production monitoring. Currently, Ahmad is a Mentor at Google Summer of Code, working with student developers for the ASF to create the next version of the Fineract CN Mobile App. He has also previously worked as a Senior Android Software Engineer at Klizo Solutions, where he led the Android team and helped them migrate the existing architecture to Clean MVVM architecture, add offline capabilities using Room DB, migrate Java codes to Kotlin, migrate Dagger to Hilt, and add unit, integration, and UI testing. He has also worked on implementing various features in their projects, such as search and scan for nearby Bluetooth devices, connect and communicate with Raspberry Pi devices, add a Geolocation mark for specific places, and implement advanced Firebase event analytics. Ahmad has also worked as an Android Software Engineer at Google Summer of Code, where he worked on the Fineract-CN-Mobile project, an Android app for Digital Financial services built on top of the Fineract-CN platform. He implemented several features that improved the user interface, user experience, functionality, and overall aesthetics of the app, such as adding support for all functionalities of creating a Ledger, extending Kotlin support in-app, integrating the app with Couchbase database to implement offline first, and adding GIS features like location tracking and dropping of Pin into the App. Ahmad holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from Savitribai Phule Pune University, a Nano degree in Android development from Udacity, and completed two semesters in Computer Science from Herat University.
